- Feet flat on the floor and shoulder with apart
- Grip is regular or hooked, with thumbs around bar
- Back straight, chest up and head facing forward
- Thighs parallel to the floor and shoulders over the bar
- Inhale and begin motion
- Bar goes straight up and stays close to the body
- Spread feet slightly when “jumping”
- Elbows point high
- Keep under control
- Exhale while returning to starting position
