Clean Basics

  1. Feet flat on the floor and shoulder with apart
  2. Grip is regular or hooked, with thumbs around bar
  3. Back straight, chest up and head facing forward
  4. Thighs parallel to the floor and shoulders over the bar
  5. Inhale and begin motion
  6. Bar goes straight up and stays close to the body
  7. Spread feet slightly when “jumping”
  8. Elbows point high
  9. Keep under control
  10. Exhale while returning to starting position
