HUNGARIAN CORE BLASTER

T-HandleT-HandleThe best way to make one is to use an old barbell sleeve, but if you don’t have access to one, you can make a very inexpensive T-Handle kettlebell out of plumbers piping for under $20.
The benefit of a T-Handle besides cost is portability, since most T-Handles can be disassembled. The T-Handle is also great for doing deadlifts, two-arm bent rows, curls, reverse curls, and probably other exercises.
If making your own T-Handle seems of interest, here is what you will need to buy at a hardware stores plumbing aisle.
  • One 3⁄4″ diameter × 12″ long pipe nipple for the vertical shaft.
  • Two 3⁄4″ diameter × 4″ long pipe nipples for the handles.
  • One 3⁄4″ diameter pipe “T” fitting to connect the above items.
  • One 3⁄4″ floor flange to keep the plates from falling off as you swing.
  • One Spring Clamp
Once you have assembled your T-Handle kettlebell and made sure everything is secure, you can add weights as desired. Over time the threading can wear, so you may need replacement parts. The treading can also be covered up with duck tape to provide a smoother surface or you can use training gloves
