EGGScelent
Eggs are one of the CHEAPEST and BEST sources of protein available. They are rich in vitamins(A, K, E, B{1,2,5,9,12} etc), minerals(iron, zinc, calcium and so on).
In 100 grams of eggs there are 12-13 grams of protein that has all essential amino acids for muscle recovery. Eggs have small traces of carbs, probably a gram per 100 grams.
The egg is consisted of two parts, the egg white and the yolk. Both of them contain protein, not like some people think that all of the protein is in the egg white only. The egg white is consisted of protein only and the yolk is protein and fat. The fat content is approximately the same as the protein content in the eggs. The yolk also contains the vitamins and minerals.
If the egg is cooked(boiled, scrambled whatever) the body absorbs 98% of the protein. But if eaten raw the body absorbs only 50% of the protein. So I know how much all of you love Rocky movies but my advice is not to eat raw eggs
