OLD SCHOOL TRAINING

There is no one in this world who would not want to have a perfect physique. In order to get a muscular body, we spend many hours in gym and put in extra effort to lose weight by burning calories. However, we neglect the difference between muscles and strength. Strength is as important as muscles. In old times people were much more interested in increasing their strength instead of building more muscles. Their diets and exercises were designed according to their goals, which was to get more strength. But nowadays people aim to build muscles rather than increasing their inner strength. They may have the muscles but certainly lack the most important attribute of a maintained build, which is strength.
Old school training was more related to the basics of muscles building. People did not rely on over supplementing or over thinking. They were not worried about the place where they did exercises or about how the equipments that they used. Their aim was to increase their strength. Most of the old school bodybuilders were dependent on anecdotal evidences. Their diet plans were designed in such a way that they could get the best out of it.
Old school bodybuilders judged theirs as well as others performances in muscles building and strength training by their sweat. It means that the more you sweat the better results you will get. They never had milk shakes or any other food supplement (except water) during their exercises like us. They were all about simplicity. To them increasing strength was a matter of how much they trained their body and at the same time how simply they could perform different exercises. They lifted heavy weights until their bodies told them to rest. Then they would feast themselves on food like they had never eaten before.
If you are thinking that the old school bodybuilders just did exercises to gain muscles and increase their strength then you are absolutely correct. Body building was a time consuming job back then. People, who worked out, devoted all of their time to this job. An ordinary person would not be able to do such exercises because of the time that strength training required. It was not considered as an after work activity. Old school strength training is very different from modern training. These days if someone wants to start working out then he would have the all the sufficient information that he needs. In order to increase their muscles mass they are guided by professionals who give them the suggestions to maintain a perfect physique.
No matter if you look at an old school bodybuilder or a modern one, you will notice that both of them have a good physique. But then what factors determine which should be preferred over the other. The answer lies in their performances. A person who has a good muscular body but has a very low stamina than someone who has no muscles mass but has more endurance.
The choice is yours, which strength and muscles building training you would go for. To some people old school training is more satisfying. On the other hand, some people prefer new commercial training since it is more organized and you practice all the exercises according to the workout plan.
