Hepburn’s Laws for Building Mass and Power

  1. Set realistic goals and know where you want to go.
  2. Maintain a positive attitude at all times.
  3. Get plenty of rest, and relax whenever possible to conserve energy.
  4. Eat a wide variety of healthy foods, in moderate amounts, throughout the day.
  5. Prevent over-training.
  6. Use basic exercises: squat, press, bench press, curl, deadlift, etc.
  7. Concentrate on only two or three exercises per workout.
  8. Work hard and don’t expect something for nothing.
  9. Aim for small, but ever increasing improvements.
  10. Have faith in yourself, and never give in.
