- Set realistic goals and know where you want to go.
- Maintain a positive attitude at all times.
- Get plenty of rest, and relax whenever possible to conserve energy.
- Eat a wide variety of healthy foods, in moderate amounts, throughout the day.
- Prevent over-training.
- Use basic exercises: squat, press, bench press, curl, deadlift, etc.
- Concentrate on only two or three exercises per workout.
- Work hard and don’t expect something for nothing.
- Aim for small, but ever increasing improvements.
- Have faith in yourself, and never give in.
