What's Important?

Lawrence's ...OLD SCHOOL IRON

In a world where the "win at all cost" mentality is heralded as a hallmark of champions it's rare to discover others who share the conviction that "winning" does not require a proportionate collection of trophies, plaques and ribbons....
True "winning" cannot be assessed or defined by the attainment of tangible prizes.
Prizes are are just things and there will always be shortcuts for the multitudes obsessed with acquiring things.
Athletes don't like to think about this, but one day you will be as physically strong as you will ever be.
Each of us will strive, work, peak then decline.
If physical weakness is inevitable does this mean the pursuit of physical strength is pointless?
Not at all - Use your time in the gym to make your body as strong as possible for as long as possible.
The true strength built and carried until the end are those qualities forged and honed in this long journey called life
Don't live hoping you'll win your prize at the end of the journey, maybe the journey is the prize.
The longer the journey the more you can exercise....
Remember to exercise compassion, exercise dedication, exercise love.

Get Strong
Live Long
Live Well
that is all......
